Dead Air

Screen 9 · Now Seating

Dead Air is a free, ad-supported channel for horror, thrillers, action, and films made with AI, broadcasting from the projection booth of a multiplex that closed in 2012. Nobody told the projectionist.

What's on

• Original Transmission — Dead Air originals, including Montana-Man and the series Eliminated.
• Feature Presentation — independent thrillers, action, and horror features, introduced by the host.
• Short Circuit — shorts from independent and AI filmmakers.
• Dead Air After Hours — the stranger stuff, late.

How to watch

Add Dead Air from the Roku Streaming Store. Free, no account, no sign-in. Available in the United States and Canada, with more regions to come.

The host

The Projectionist has run Screen 9 since before the theater closed and did not notice when it did. He considers viewers his guests, in the sense that they are not leaving. He was, at one time, Reely, King of the Movies. He does not use that name anymore.

Filmmakers

Dead Air licenses independent and AI-made genre films on a non-exclusive, revenue-share basis and runs a rolling festival with free submissions for AI-made work. Festival rules and the submission page are coming soon; in the meantime, email us.
